NL Research is a small not-for-profit initiative to promote health, accelerate disease research and reduce animal products in industry. We are a registered charity under the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission.

We believe in progress by seeking and delivering meaningful answers to complex healthcare and ethical issues. And supporting developing minds to be more capable of this.

Board Members

Albert Ng


Albert is experienced in accounting for individual, small business and corporate firms in both not-for-profit and commercial sectors. He is currently a member of CPA Australia, IPA (Institute of Public Accountants in Australia) and a registered ASIC SMSF Auditor.

Amelia Chen


Amelia is a registered tax agent and business advisor who runs her own agency for small to medium businesses and non profit organisations. She is currently a Treasurer with Castle Hill RSL Photography Club. She has volunteered her time with other non profit organisations as a Honoury Secretary, Publicity Coordinator and Public Officer.

Dr Nicholas Ng

PhD, BMus (Hons I)

Dr Nicholas Ng is a composer, performer and full-time Research Fellow at the Australia-China Institute for Arts and Culture (WSU). On the erhu (2-stringed fiddle), he has toured around Australia, Europe, Canada and New Zealand to various festival events, and has written for prestigious ensembles such as the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and The Australian Voices. His work as an artist has been documented in the ABC Compass program 'Divine Rhythms', SBS Mandarin and 'The Music Show' (ABC Radio). Nicholas co-established the Australian National University Classical Chinese Music Ensemble (2003) and currently teaches erhu and music theory at Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

Jennifer Leow

Siew Neo Leow is driven by a passion to promote the awareness of long-term benefits of herbal foods as nutraceuticals inspired by supporting customers based in Icon Village, Singapore.
